Victorian Dress 

Supplies:

• Thinking of You Stamp (Rubber Stampede)
• Clear Embossing Ink (Ranger)
• Peridot PEARLuster Embossing Powder; (Stampendous)
• White Card Stock; cut to size 8 ½” X 11” (Staples)
• Floral Print Paper or Wallpaper; 4 ½” X ½”(Michael’s or discarded wall paper book)
• Text Weight Paper for card insert; 8 ½” X 11” (Staples)
• 3 White/Pearl Buttons
• Paper Doily (Michaels)
• Ribbon; 1/8” or 1/16”  (Michael’s)
• Heat Tool (Marvy Uchida)
• Gel Pen White (Sakura)
• Scissors (Fiskars)
• Décor Scissors (Fiskars)
• White Tacky Glue (Michael’s)

Fits Envelope size 4 1/8” X 9 ½”

Directions:

1. Trace the template onto white card stock twice and cut out the two dress shapes.  Leave a tab on front section, trim tab off of the back section. 

2. Fold the front tab over the back section and glue to secure. 

3. Trace the template onto the text weight insert paper twice and cut out the two dress shapes.  Leave a tab on front section, trim tab off of the back section. 

4. Fold the front tab over the back section and glue to secure. 

5. Trim the insert all around edges with décor scissors. 

6. Stamp the insert with text stamp using clear embossing ink.

7. Sprinkle stamped image with Peridot PEARLuster Embossing Powder; tap off and save excess powder. 

8. Melt the Embossing Powder with the heat tool. 

9. Lightly glue insert to the inside back card at the top. 

10. Trace the template onto the Patterned paper or wallpaper once and cut out one dress shape. Trim off the tab. 

11. Following the line drawing placement and the card example, mark fold lines of the dress using the white gel pen. 

12. Trim the paper doily to add the collar, sleeve and petticoat, by following the card example.  Glue the doily pieces to the print dress front as shown on the example card. 

13. Using leftover print paper, cut a few flowers to sprinkle inside the card and glue them to the insert, as shown on the example card. 

14. Tie two single and one slightly larger double ribbon bows. Glue to print dress front as shown on the example card. 

15. Glue the three buttons to the patterned dress front as shown on the example card. 

16. Glue the completed print dress front to the white card stock front of the card.
