Intermediate Stamping Design Team
Have you ever made a
card and when looking at it, thought it needed something extra? Stickles
Glitter Glue can come to an effective rescue most of the time. You can use it
as the focal point of your creation or just apply a tiny touch of it to enhance
your artwork.
Supplies
- All Occasion
Celebration stamp set (TAC)
- Black Noir Palette
Hybrid Ink (Stewart Superior ~ TAC)
- Blue Breeze
Kaleidacolor Pad (Tsukineko ~ TAC)
- VersaMark ink pad (Tsukineko
~ TAC)
- Red Sparkles
cardstock, ½ sheet measuring 5½” x 8½” (TAC)
- Silver paper, 2½” x
2½” (unknown)
- Black cardstock, 2⅝”
x 2⅝” (TAC)
- White Glossy
cardstock; ½ Sheet measuring 5½” x 8½” (TAC)
- Acetate, heat
resistant (Office Depot)
- Stickles Glitter Glue
(Ranger ~ TAC)
- Brayer (Speedball ~
TAC)
- Salt right from your
table or you can use pickling salt, (Morton)
- Water in a spritz
bottle
- Mono Adhesive (Tombow)
- Mini Glue Dots (Therm-o-Web)

Magic Mesh
Instructions for Card One:
1.
Ink candles with Black Noir and stamp on acetate. Let dry for 1 hour.
2.
Flip acetate over and apply different colors of Stickles in stamped area.
I found it best to do the small areas first, then the larger areas. For candle
flames, I like to use a bit of orange in the center then use yellow around that.
Let dry overnight.
3.
Fold red sparkles cardstock in half. Ink the shadow block with VersaMark
and stamp randomly on front.
4.
Mount silver paper onto black cardstock with MonoAdhesive. Attach this to
red sparkles piece.
5.
Trim around image on acetate. Attach to silver paper with mini glue dots.
Be careful not to pull on the glitter or it will come off.
Instructions
for Card Two:
1.
Stamp fish with Black Noir onto acetate. Let dry for 1 hour.
2.
Flip acetate over and apply Yellow & Black Diamond Stickles glitter glue
to image. Let dry overnight.
3.
Fold glossy cardstock in half. Brayer with blue breeze k-pad. Spritz this
with water. Sprinkle with salt and let dry overnight. Brush off salt (can save
this for a shaker card).
4.
Trim around image on acetate. Carefully attach to brayered cardstock
with mini glue dots.
5.
Stamp saying with one of the colors from the k-pad.
6.
Stamp smaller fish with Black Noir randomly.
7.
Attach piece of magic mesh trimmed as desired.
