Customize inexpensive
frames with rubber stamps and other trendy embellishments. Scout out the dollar
stores for some terrific finds! These items make great groupings for the home
or office or to give as gifts.
Simple Frame Project
Supplies:
·
Java Nice Day
Stamp set (TAC)
·
Brilliance Inks (Tsukineko ~ TAC)
o
Lime, Coffee,
Orange, Sky Blue, Copper, Yellow
·
5” x 7” white
painted wood frame
·
Rubbing
alcohol
·
Heat gun
Directions:
1.
Clean frame with rubbing
alcohol.
2.
Stamp the coffee cups images
once each in Coffee, Lime, and Sky Blue ink on left side of frame.
3.
Stamp pot/cup image once each
in Orange, Lime, and Sky along top of frame.
4.
Stamp pot image once each in
Copper, Lime, Sky on right side of frame.
5.
Stamp sentiment in Copper on
bottom of frame.
6.
Stamp coffee bean image in
various colors randomly in white spaces.
7.
Heat set the ink with a heat
tool.
Scrapbook Page Frame

Directions:
1.
Paint frame with Gesso. Let
dry.
2.
Stamp shapes from Contemporary
shadows randomly around frame. Use colors that complement the page to be
displayed. Overlap edges to create even more colors.
3.
Use Tacky Glue to apply
embellishments and mementos to the frame. This allows the page to be extended
beyond the borders of the paper.

Frame — Project Three:
Supplies:

Woman’s Face Stamp (Time to
Stamp)
·
Charcoal Flowers Stamp set (The
Angel Company)
·
Golden Oak Wood Stain (Delta)
·
Staz-On Jet Black (Tsukineko~TAC)
·
4” x 6” wood frame
·
Prismacolor Pencils
·
O’So Sticky Tape Sheet (Penny
Wise Arts)
·
Ultra Fine glass beads (Penny
Wise Arts)
·
Pop Dots
Directions:
1.
Stain frame according to directions of the wood stain product by Delta
and set aside to dry.
2.
Ink up image of Woman’s Face with Black Stazon Ink.
3.
Color with Prismacolor Pencils and blend with blending pencil.
4.
Cover image with O’So Sticky tape and trim image.
5.
Cover image with Ultra Fine micro beads.
6.
Stamp Charcoal Flower Tulip in upper left corner of frame six times. Be
sure to stamp off the edges of the frame.
7.
Adhere beaded image to lower
right corner of the frame with a pop dot.

Square Wooden Frame with wide
border
Directions:
1.
Paint frame with Gesso, let
dry.
2.
Stamp small palm tree with
Pueblo chalk ink on right side of frame.
3.
Roll out Creative Paperclay
according to manufacturer’s directions.
4.
Stamp one large palm tree and
one small palm tree into paper clay.
5.
Cut out images with a craft
knife.
6.
Air dry or bake 30 minutes at
250 degrees. Let cool.
7.
Use the edge of the Pueblo
stamp pad to highlight the frame and the photo opening.
8.
Stamp the saying with Moondance
ink.
9.
Glue shells (or other mementos)
randomly around left side of frame.
10.
Sand Paperclay trees with an
emery board.
11.
Paint with Radiant Pearls and
let dry.
12.
Seal Paperclay trees with
acrylic sealer (optional). Allow to dry thoroughly.
13.
Glue trees to frame as shown.
14.
Add photo and remember the
days…..
