Instructions: 

1.                Spray background paper with Terra Cotta Walnut Ink; dry brush with brown acrylic paint using 3” paintbrush.

2.                Cut pattern paper approximately 5.5”x7.5”; spray with Walnut Ink. Cut light blue cardstock approximately 4.5”x6.5”- run through paper corrugator and apply Tea Dye ink to ridges using direct to paper technique.

3.                Spray Walnut Ink onto a piece of scrap light blue cardstock; print name and dates using Antique Type font, size 18. Cut into strips and ink edges with black ink.

4.                Condition white Sculpey clay by running through Pasta Machine a few times (or condition by hand). Stamp leaf stamp into clay to create a mold making sure you get a nice deep impression. Cut out in a block shape being careful not to disturb your image – the clay is very soft. Bake in oven according to package instructions.

5.                When the mold has cooled off, push conditioned clay into the impression using fingers. (You may need to sprinkle a bit of baby powder in mold or spritz with a bit of water to help the stamp release.) Make three leaves using mold; cut out using X~acto knife.

6.                Condition Copper Sculpey clay by running through Pasta Machine a few times. Using Black Brilliance ink, stamp letters for “POP” into clay; let dry; cut out using Deckle scissors.

7.                Bake “POP” and leaves in oven according to package instructions. Cool.

8.                Paint leaves with green acrylic paint; let dry. Rub copper Metallic Rub~ons over edges and details. Paint with Future Floor Finish – this seals the Rub~ons and provides a nice shiny finish.

9.                Layer pattern paper mat, light blue corrugated mat and picture onto background.

10.           Cut three squares about 2”x2” with deckle scissors; spray with Walnut Ink spray; sponge edges with black ink. Cut pieces of burlap garland and glue onto squares. Glue clay leaves on top of garland. Glue these squares around bottom right hand corner of picture.

11.           Print journaling on pattern paper using Antique Type font, size 12 and glue to bottom right corner of background.

12.           Place burlap garland at an angel on top right corner; glue down. Glue “POP” letters on top of burlap.

13.           Place names and dates as desired and glue to background.

 Voila! Layout completed!
