As an addicted scramper, I am delighted to be a part of this group! I love sharing new ideas and inspiring others. Scrapbooking was thrown in my face in the spring of 2000 - I rebelled. Everyone else in my extended family was "scrapping." I thought they were completely insane!  Anyone who thought I had time to "decorate" pictures did NOT know what my life was like. However, my 11 year-old daughter decided the she wanted to scrapbook. Off we go to our local craft store to buy all sorts of paper, decorative scissors, and paraphernalia that have long since been deemed not worthy of our layouts. She wanted me to sit down and scrapbook with her to help of course.  Uh huh, and the rest is history. I have now become one of those "people" who decorate pictures and couldn't imagine life without doing so!

I was introduced to rubber stamping even before scrapbooking, but the addiction didn't take at first. In November 2001 I discovered stamping again and some of the wonderful things you can do with rubber stamps on layouts! It was somewhat of a challenge learning to incorporate stamping techniques into my layouts. After about a year of increasing my knowledge of techniques and inventory of stamps (and supplies), it started becoming second nature. I love to think of new ways to use stamps in my scrapping. Knowing that my backgrounds and embellishments are unique gives me a certain satisfaction.

As a full-time wife and mother, my family and domestic responsibilities keep me pretty busy. Making "me" time is constantly a challenge, but important enough that I do my best at scheduling it in my life. I have been married to my wonderfully supportive husband for over 18 years now and have two beautiful daughters, ages 22 and 15. We also have two Pomeranian fur balls that I'm sure you will see in upcoming layouts.
